Tune аэропорт (JWN) видел почти 15% increase in overall economic impact from 2018 в 2019, contributing more than $40 million in total economic impact in 2019, according to an economic impact study commissioned by the Nashville Metropolitan Airport Authority. This number reflects both business revenue ($30.6 миллиона) and re-spending/consumption impact ($9.5 миллиона).
“John C. Tune Airport is a vital asset to area businesses, including the vast and continuously growing entertainment industry,” said Michelle Frazier, director of aeronautics at the Tennessee Department of Transportation. “The airport is a critical transportation link for the local and regional economy, as well as a key contributor to state and local tax funds.”
JWN is the largest general aviation airport serving downtown Nashville.
