Rep. Bill Shuster, Other Top Policy Leaders, to Address NBAA2014 Attendees
NBAA’s convention is always an occasion for the business aviation community to hear from government leaders, and this year’s show is no exception. The convention opens Oct. 21 with an Opening General Session featuring Rep. William “Bill” Shuster (R-9-PA) as a keynote speaker. Shuster serves as chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, a role that includes legislative oversight of the U.S. Department of Transportation and the FAA. He will be joined by Chris Hart, acting chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board. On Oct. 22, attendees will hear from Edward L. Bolton Jr., the assistant administrator for NextGen at the FAA. The session will also include remarks from Delaware Gov. Jack Markell, whose state is home to a number of business aviation enterprises. Read more about NBAA2014’s general sessions.
